Buckaroo Leather Products is owned and operated by John & Michele Brand. Begun by John and his father Bob Brand in 1979, the business remains family owned and operated to this day. Buckaroo has built its reputation on offering riding equipment that is high in quality at a fair price along with customer service that is second to none. We only use the finest, highest quality leather available. In over 30+ years, we have never compromised our standards by using inferior, less expensive or imported leather; that IS NOT an OPTION! Why is there so much emphasis on US Hermann Oak leather?

It is the best leather period, because they use exclusively USA fed steer hides to start with!  American raised steer hides are the most consistent for safety and durability!  We only use the finest, highest quality leather available.  In over 30 years, we have never compromised our standards by using inferior, less expensive or imported leather; that IS NOT an OPTION! At Buckaroo Leather Products, we use Hermann Oak US hides exclusively!

Can I buy direct from You, or do I have to go to Dealer?
You can buy right here on our website if it is more convenient or if you don't have a dealer near you. You can use our dealer locator for your area.

Are Headstalls One size fit all?

Our headstalls are very adjustable and fit a broad range of sizes. If you have a small or extra large horse please contact us with measurements for special order.

 

Why are the Harness reins so thick in your hands and heavy on the ends?

They give you better weight and feel for communication with your horse with any slight movement of your hands.

 

Are there any warranties or Guarantees on our Tack?

Our Guarantee: At Buckaroo Leather our guarantee is simple; we want every one of our customers to be completely satisfied! We’re not happy unless you are; we consider a complaint an opportunity to improve. So, if you are unhappy in any way with your Buckaroo Leather purchase, simply return it in its original condition within 10 business days with invoice for exchange and or refund.

Our Limited Warranty: For 30 days from the date of proven purchase Buckaroo Leather will repair or replace any product we manufacture or distribute, if found to have defects in material or workmanship. The life of any piece of strap goods depends on the care of the product; this warranty is given only to the original purchaser and does not cover accidental damage, alterations, abuse, misuse or normal expected wear.

 

Type of Shipping: We offer these delivery options: UPS - Ground & UPS - 3 Day Select (not available in Alaska or Hawaii). UPS requires a physical address for both ground and 3 Day Select and will not deliver to a P.O. Box. A phone number may also help in prompt deliver in some cases.

Sales Tax: Sales tax is only charged for orders shipped within the Sate of California.

Oversized Packages: Certain oversized packages may require additional shipping costs. In the event that your order falls into our “Oversized Package” category, Buckaroo Leather Products will contact you before shipping for confirmation of that cost.

Alaska & Hawaii: The cost of shipping Alaska & Hawaii orders will be determined by weight and can be shipped Second Day Air via UPS or Priority Mail via USPS for orders less than 70 lbs. For Hawaii shipments not on the main island, please allow an extra day or two.

We require a phone number and email address to aid in prompt delivery; we cannot ship UPS to P.O. Boxes.

International Orders: The cost of shipping International orders will be determined by weight of the package and shipping destination using UPS or USPS International. We cannot ship to international P.O. Boxes; we require a phone number, fax number and or email address for ALL international orders; this will aid in prompt delivery. Please call or email for accurate shipping costs.

P.O. Boxes: Package shipping to P.O. Boxes will be shipped Priority Mail via USPS; packages must be less than 70lbs. We cannot ship to international P.O. Boxes.
