Properly cared for and maintained this Superior Leather Romel Rein will have many years of quality performance. These Romal Reins are available in 1/2" width and are made from premium Hermann Oak Harness Leather. 2 options- nickel ring Romal connector with rein snaps at bit, or leather thong romel connector with ties at bit  

Rein portion is 50" in length

 The reins have rounded edges and are hand rubbed. Romel portion is 48" in length.

Custom Rounded Romel Reins

I ordered a custom length of the Rounded Romel Reins (42" rein length and with the sewn loop ends without the snap, for use with 8" rein chains and stainless-steel romel connector. We spoke by telephone when placing the order and in about 10 days I had them...perfectly made to my request. I've hand rubbed them twice with neatsfoot oil and they are like soft butter and very smooth to the hand. Stitching and scriving where leather loops are made is really high quality.

Coincidentally (maybe not) the reins are perfectly balanced with the popper end matching the weight of the two reins on the other end. This makes them pull up through my rein hand super easy when trying to shorten the rein just a bit.

I highly recommend if you are looking for a great set of working romels.
